Description
In Christianity, Christmas tree is symbolic of birth and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The tree's branches and shrubs are viewed as an emblem of immortality and are said to symbolize the crown of thorns worn by Christ on the cross.
Lake Tillery is a reservoir between Falls Reservoir and Blewett Falls Lake in the Appalachian and Uwharrie Lakes Region of North Carolina. It is entirely within Stanly County and Montgomery County, NC.
I painted this watercolor landscape to demonstrate to my love at that moment how I painted in watercolors. It was a subject of contention between he and his former romantic partner when they reunited... Yet, he still has it--not her--and treasures it. Titled "Only a Moment."
