Description

Seascape of a yacht sailing along Cape Hattaras National Seashore on the Outer Banks (OBX). "Wind's Up, Let's Sail," is a 22 X 30 watercolor painting on 300 lb Arches Cold-pressed paper. SOLD... Lovingly created using experimental technique with salt to create the waves by the shore, sparkles in the sky, and on the distance grasses. Also used masking tape and a lift-off technique with "Magic Eraser" to clear the white space in the sailboats. Painted hoping they would and sailors Tonja and Martin did purchase this painting for their private collection in Delray Beach, Florida.
