Description

Grateful to have sold both the originals--Morning Light and Sunrise Sail (unframed) to a purchaser from Austin Texas, who immediately matted and framed them exactly alike and hung them in her powder room.

Titled "Sunrise Sunset" because sun could be either rising or setting and the sailboat out for a morning sail or sailing into the sunset... Atlantic Beach in North Carolina runs East and West so sunsets can be seen on that beach even though it is the East Coast. This is a hand-painted watercolor with pure Winsor & Newton watercolor paints on Arches Cold-pressed paper, framed in a silver with black side frame under conservation glass, with double conservation mats.
