Native wild sea oats can be seen along the Outer Banks and Cape Hattaras National Seashore, Bogue Inlet, Masonboro Inlet in Wilmington, North Carolina. Because they are endangered, it is a crime to cut them or deliberately damage them. There are active replenishment plantings all along the North Carolina Outer Banks and in Wilmington to try to protect the sand dunes, which in turn protect the fragile sandy shores of those areas. They bloom in late August and are an amazing sight to see!
Honored to be...

The most rewarding aspect of my life long career is that I have the opportunity to bring joy into the lives of others with my painting and design skills.
