Title
Beach Path To The Horizon
Artist
Catherine Ludwig Donleycott
Medium
Painting - Watercolor On Paper
Description
My "Path to the Horizon" travels between a set of beach fences with a dramatic sky, lots of birds flying into the sky, sand, and fence shadows.
Water, the beach, the ocean, and everything about it are the recurring theme in my paintings, because I am happiest when I am by a body of water or even a creek. My heart's memories still reside at Breezy Point, Long Island, New York where I spent much of my life growing up. Since 1966, I have also spent many wonderful hours all along the North and South Carolina coast, as well as on lakes and rivers in these states.
Honored to have WON 3rd Place in a Juried Pathways Clayton Visual Arts Contest 2018.
Thank you for the honor of being featured on many Fine Art America group home pages!
For Fine Art Prints in different sizes on canvas, metal acrylic, framed, gallery wrapped and even available as fine art greeting cards, throw pillows., choose from hundreds of frames and mats which can be used to create museum-quality masterpieces from any of my artwork.and to see my whole portfolio with more than 100 original oil and watercolour paintings, please visit my Online WEBSITE/ Art Galleries / Print Shop at:

I love the delicate painting in the foreground, and of course, the sky. You get the atmosphere across with a minimum of brush strokes, not easy to do! Like/f/vote
