Description
The watercolor "View On the Beach" was painted intuitively from my hearts memories and photographs taken while walking along Delray Beach in Florida. Commissioned for a child's room of a Delray sollector of my paintings.
BACKGROUND for creating this painting:
My patron and youngest daughter--middle child--asked me to paint two paintings for over my granddaughters bed. Since I had taken photos of the beach near there house in Delray Beach Florida, it was only natural to paint watercolors of them. I was also wanting to find a way to use salt to create a breaking wave in the distance on a watercolor. So I got to practice that with this painting. The grasses and shadows in the sand are just pure fun for me to do and I could do them all day... IF I could find a better market for watercolors than just my daughter and her neighbors.
