Description
Loving the ocean and sunsets, I decided to put them together in this painting. Having grown up living near the ocean and spending as much time as I can near it every since, I painted these waves instinctively. Interestingly, when my electrician who grew up on the Outer Banks (OBX) saw this painting, he suggested that the water would be dark due to these large waves indicating a stormy sea. I instinctively painted these breaking waves on the beach at sunset.
